Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 20, 2026

1. Introduction

Orbit Labs ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Simple Wholesale B2B Shopify application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your personal information and your customers' data when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

2. Information We Collect

When you install the App, we automatically access certain types of information from your Shopify account:

  • Merchant Information: Your store domain, email address, and App configuration preferences (such as your global discount percentage).
  • Customer Information: We access customer IDs and assigned tags to enable the wholesale directory and discount functionality. We do not download or store your customers' financial information or order histories.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data strictly to provide and maintain the App‘s core functionality, which includes:

  • Authenticating your store session securely.
  • Managing wholesale tags for approved customer accounts.
  • Managing the automatic discount logic for your store.

4. Data Sharing and Sub-processors

We do not sell your data or your customers' data. We share data only with trusted third-party services necessary to host and run the App safely. Our secure server infrastructure and database are hosted via Render.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data only for as long as your store has the App installed. We fully integrate with Shopify's mandatory data privacy webhooks to ensure GDPR compliance:

  • Customer Data Requests: If a customer requests their data, we will provide any relevant data we hold.
  • Customer Deletion: If a customer requests to be deleted from your store, we automatically purge their specific records from our database.
  • Shop Deletion / App Uninstalled: Upon uninstalling the App, we automatically purge your store's session and configuration data from our active database.

6. Your Rights

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to port it to a new service, and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or erased. To exercise these rights, please contact us through the provided support channels.
